Unknown # 116

This is my enterotube. It was innoculated (that means I put bacteria into it) with my unknown bacterium...bacterium # 116. I've been working with this bacterium in my microbiology class, and, through different tests throughout the term, I've been trying to identify which bacterium I have. Today, I think I did it. With the enterotube. I interpreted my results, came up with a code, looked it up, and it gave me this: Serratia Marcescens. THIS IS MY BACTERIA! I know what it is. Pretty exciting, since I've been working on it all term and after looking at my prior test results and comparing them against the chart for this specific bacteria, they match up. I know, I know...I'm totally nerding out. But, so what. This stuff is cool :-)

Oh, and...I had an exam today and it sucked. I don't think I did well. Oh well :-/ On to the next.
