I’m Jennifer and I was born and raised in sunny Southern California. In Los Angeles, specifically. I was born in ’85 to my parents, Joseph (RIP Dad: 7/17/49 – 1/15/11) and Gloria. I have 5 siblings…4 sisters and a brother. I grew up in a suburb of Los Angeles called Palmdale and I lived there from the time I was 5 until I went to college in the fall of ’03. My alma mater is California State University, Long Beach – GO BEACH! I earned a bachelors in Political Science there, graduating in the spring of ’07. I currently live in Tigard, Or with my husband Alberto and our (living) daughter Isla (she’s three) – our angel baby Jeslyn is safe and sound in heaven with my Dad. My husband and I moved to Oregon in the winter of ’12 and I have been working towards realizing my dream of becoming nurse since the summer of ’12, taking pre-requisite courses at Portland Community College. I am being considered for two nursing programs in our area and I hope to begin nursing school this fall. I am passionate about my family, football, my friends, and food. I am new to the blogging world, but, I hope to be welcomed to the community with open and loving arms!
